 Some of you will recognize Cab Enhancer from two of our other products. It has a new version of the CabShaper from DIG and GUTS and three distinct functions:
It will either emulate a cabinet without the use of IR, It will enhance an existing IR cabinet, or it will enhance a mic'd cabinet.
IR cabs can lose some of the "live" feel no matter what equipment or how you place a mic, it will always be like that it is a simple matter of physics. So, what Cab Enhancer does is place back some of that live 'feel', so to speak. |

the weird thing is the mic leakage. The gui has two mics (one for X, one for Y) but try to think of them as one: the sound is focused on the spot where imaginary vectors from mics intersect. (from the screenshot example, there is almost nothing of "Fender 3", very little of "Marshall 1", and VOX wins HnK something like 60:40, that kinda blend, difficult to describe, but once you turn mics, you get the idea )
And sure, there are no such terms as cone, grill, cap...

 LE456 is a preamp sim roughly based on a piece of famous German gear.
LE456 has 2 channels and 2 modes per channel. Each channel/mode share the same features. Apart from the usual tone controls (drive, low, mid, high and contour), each channel/mode offers two different tone stacks that can be accessed via the focus switches. Bottom and bright switches can be used to boost the low and high frequencies respectively. On the low gain channel only (Clean/Crunch), the effectiveness of the bright switch decreases with the gain settings. |

 Its pretty self explanatory. You have MIDI files with a bunch of CC, Tempo, NRPN and other junk data. These files may cause issues if you drag them into hosts or export them to hardware. So, you use MFS to filter out the files. Now you have pure MIDI note files that will play pefectly in any host and hardware.
Midi File Stripper (MFS) features
* MFSc installs onto your computer and uses a ‘right click file’ context menu command. It only can process 1 file at a time.
* MFSp is a portable version that runs from removable media such as USB thumb drives, shared network folders optical media. It also supports multiple files dragged to the GUI or to the executable.

 Mr. Tater Head is the last amp in AcmeBarGig's "Preampus Classic Hybrid" line.
Mr. Tater Head has three different gain controls - Bass Gain, Mid Gain and Treble Gain - as well as the standard Bass, Mid and Treble controls on its tone stack. These extra gain controls mean you can really get in to shaping the sound of the saturation. It takes some tweaking but AcmeBarGig says that you can get some really unique tones through altering the overall gain control and the three extra gain knobs.

 The Poulin HyBrit Series is a collection of three plug-ins that feature a hybrid amp model based on two famous British amps. The plug-ins include a "PLS channel" that is a hybrid of the two (tweaked) channels (Normal and Treble) of the real thing. Both channels are actually processed and the mix of the two signals can be adjusted through the PLS MIX knob. Another channel, MCJ, is also a tweaked version of the real thing.
This amp simulator doesn't represent anything specifically but it does have the character of the British amp.

 Studio Devil BVC (British Valve Custom) from Gallo
Engineering is a guitar tube
amplifier modeling plug-in designed to mimic the character of
"British"-style vacuum tube heads. This virtual tube amplifier processor is
based on authentic models of 12AX7A vacuum tube preamps and tube power stages.
While primarily intended for guitar amp modeling and direct recording of both
electric guitar and bass, Studio Devil BVC excels wherever natural tube
overdrive and distortion is needed.
British Valve Custom features the basic controls of a guitar amp: GAIN, TONE,
and DRIVE. It is based on the gain structure of popular British Valve (Tube)
heads like those made by Marshall with some subtle modifications to give it
slightly more gain. The dynamic response and tone is faithful to those from real
vacuum tube amps and reacts to your playing style just like the real thing.

support.

 Plektron has announced the release of WTComp, which is described as an analogue tube compressor. It's available for Windows as a VST effect plug-in and it is free.
WTCompWTComp distinguishes itself from a common compressor due to its simple use. The only thing you have to do is to set the warm-level (compression) instead of going crazy with dozens of parameters.
WTComp is based on the parallel compression technique that maximize the output signal rather than destroy the sound's dynamic. The tube simulation makes the sound warm and loads without distortion, processing a "fat" wave without square peaks.
The advanced internal structure includes an intelligent audio-clip system.
