 ADopplerEn2 is vst effect for windows compatible host. This effect is based over the old ADopplerEn, which was a simple effect design to produce the doppler effect with a panner, a delay modulted by a lfo. The new version of the effect still allows to produce this effect but is much more flexible and the overall quality is best than the first version.
The effect consists of eight parallel similar audio processing chain which are composed of a delay tape reader, a stereo panner, a multi mode filter and an amplitude modulator. Each sub block of the processing chain can be modulated (delay, filter cutoff frequency, stereo position, amplitude) by one of the eight low frequency oscillators. All lfos are similar, they can produce various standard shapes and can be synced between themselves.
This effect has grown to become a really powerfull modulator able to produce a wide variety of effects: doppler, autopanner, rich chorus ,stereo enhancer, flanger, multi taps delay, reverberators...
As the first version the effect is totally free to use (donationware). However the distribution is a quality one: it comes with a bunch of preset, a complete manual, and total support (email/forum) is granteed for the product. |

 The ADT technique was developed at Abbey Road Studios by engineers recording the Beatles in the 1960s. To free John Lennon from having to sing everything twice for real double tracking they came up with an artificial replacement: they sent the original signal to another tape machine and re-recorded it. Due to the physical distance between record and playback heads the new signal was delayed. The length of the delay depends on the tape speed (the slower the tape is running the longer it takes for the signal to travel from the record to the playback head). However, due to the machine's (small amounts of) Wow and Flutter the delay time was not fixed but varied slightly, giving an additional chorus-like effect.
The ADT Plug-In takes a mono input signal and creates a stereo output. The original input signal will be output on one channel, the new ADT signal on the other. Blending the two is also possible. The Plug-In allows to control the delay time (10 - 50ms), Wow and Flutter (both with intensity in % and frequency). All values are based on the technical data of the tape machines that was originally used to create this effect. |

 The 'Advanced Clipper' is basically a hard clipping plugin with two stages. Additional oversampling reduces alias noise. The oversampling algorithm is based on butterworth filters (as can be found in rubberfilter) and thus will affect the group delay (you can notice a delay of some samples in extreme cases).

 Aeiou is a vocal filter - its purpose is to apply the spectrum characteristics of the mouth to the input signal by filtering it. By applying the effect to rich signals (saw or square oscillations) it gives the illusion of a human who is sustaining a vowel such as 'a' ,'e' ,'i', etc.
The effect parameters are:
The most important is 'vowel'.
'Size' can be used to spread the output bandwidth.
'Slope' can be used to give some brightness to the result. Technically it is increasing or decreasing the filters gain on the frequency axis.
'Peaking' is a minor parameter. It can be used to increase the filters resonance but it will also reduce the bandwidth.
When 'Smooth' is set to 0, the vowel transitions are direct, when set over 0 they are smoothed.
The 'mix' knob adjusts the amount of wet signal at the output. |

 J1000 ALPHA is an equalizer made for fine tuning in post-production. It separates stereo into mid and side signals and allows you independent equalization over both of them. Each of two sections consists of four identical peak filters. The controls are classic F/G/Q that you can find on every fully-parametric equalizer. Small distinctition is that two horizontal faders, located on top of each section, control filter frequency. The upper [F] is for rough selection and it has range from 50 to 12,500Hz, while lower [f] is for fine adjustments in +/-20% range. Vertical gain fader [G] can boost or cut signal by 3dB. This may seem too little, but for mastering it is quite enough and if you think you really need more you can always use x2 button that doubles gain for that filter, i.e., gives you +/-6dB operating range. Q factor is continually controlled by third horizontal fader [Q]. Master section at the right has high-pass and low-pass filters, input gain and stereo width faders. High-pass and low-pass filters have fixed frequencies and faders actually control filters' steepness. Stereo width adjustment is done with two opposite filters, so that bass remains almost intact. |

They control frequency at which cutting occurs, which is traditional way of controlling HP i LP filters. Their steepness is non-adjustable and it was selected to preserve natural sound as much as possible. If you need drastic EQ-ing this is not an adequate plugin for the task. On other hand, if you wan't subtle tool for enhancing timbral properties of an instrument or voice, rather than altering them beyond recognition, Beta will suit just fine. |

So far, its not stuttered using cubase sx 2.2, but has in fruityloops and cantabile ... let me know ... ha, and it may take a little while to load ... as for cpu, it takes about the same as a single roomworks instance for example (Athlon XP2200+ 1gig ram). |

The "heart" of our M/S tools are our unique SOLO BUTTONS that allow you to actually LISTEN to all components of a stereo mix / stereo signal individually:
L(left channel), R(ight channel), M(ono sum) & S(tereo difference signal) - and all this PHASE CORRECTED (when needed) and mono-ed out on BOTH SPEAKERS of your system. This is very helpful when working in M/S modes (because especially listening to only the S-signal of a stereo mix is not so easy to do with modern DAW stations) and to check your signals / mixes for errors, noises, clicks, whatever...
